When people mention "a earth shattering experience " they underestimate the quality and service of this location. Puma was a wonderful personality and his cooking was in lack of better terms divine. I have gone here with friends a plethora of times and not once was I disappointed. I ENCOURAGE everyone who reads this to come here at least once a day

Ordered from this place on Uber Eats. The portions were massive and the food was great. Combo platters came with a few french fries mixed in which was a nice touch... too big for one person to eat!

This is the first time, yes first time I've ever had halal food! This is the one place I chose to visit because I had heard a lot of great things about this particular location. I figured I give it a try for lunch. Needless to say I was not disappointed, I absolutely loved what I ordered. I got the Chicken over rice with red onions, cucumber and lettuce underneath and on top I got the white sauce. The chicken was cooked perfectly, very tender, rice was blended really well with it including the sauce. My boyfriend and I both got the platters. He got lamb over rice with the white sauce and red. The white sauce is creamy and mild, whereas the red sauce is spicy. The man behind the counter was really nice, he made us our platters to take out. The inside of the place looked pretty nice, not anything out of this world but definitely a nice place to hangout while you eat and the place was clean. I was very happy with what I ordered as well as the food being delicious! $11 for the platters are a pretty good deal if you ask me! I will definitely be returning soon!!!

Good food! Once you walk into the restaurant you'll see the kitchen immediately to the right in what almost resembles a food truck. Cute. They have dishes similar to that of Halal Guys and also some other items like Chicken Nuggets and a Cheeseburger. Mr brother, his girlfriend, and I placed our order and watched everything get loaded up into our plates. I ordered the Combo Over Rice which is chicken and lamb over rice and lettuce. There's also some chopped up pita in it as well. Shortly after ordering we took our food to the table with a bottle of white sauce and red sauce. The verdict: - Combo Over Rice: It's pretty dang good. The lamb and chicken are tender and tasty. The rice is soft and the lettuce adds the needed texture. I drizzled the white sauce and red sauce continuously throughout my meal. It's a wonderful combination of flavors. Highly recommended. Food is priced fairly and service was good. Order and enjoy your meal before paying. Nice! I would definitely come back again when I'm in NY.

Always grateful for halal spots that are open late. We were craving halal around 3AM and decided to stop by here. We got the chicken over rice and combo over rice. I typically prefer lamb and they make it pretty flavorful. The chicken wasn't dry either which is great. The lamb pieces were like sliced chunks/cubes and the chicken was shredded so both mixed well with the rice. The veggies were bigger pieces and didn't mix as well. I'm used to places that pack up the container and this wasn't filled as much as I thought it'd be. They also give a good amount of white sauce that coats everything and is more than enough to give that satisfying finish.

The address on Yelp is flat out wrong! It'll send you to a residential street about 1 mile away. The Food is Great! I had chicken over rice and finished it clean. Just be warned, they give a generous helping of white sauce, so if you like things on the drier side, hold off.

DO NOT LOOK FOR THE CART. THEY NO LONGER HAVE A CART. Hamza is really a 4.5 but I rounded down because they didn't update their cart location on Google/Yelp causing us to drive around for too long. I was drawn to hamza for its rave of reviews saying that it's the best or that it's even better than NYC halal cart food. Now that, I had to verify for myself! As someone who nearly subsisted only in halal throughout college, I'd call myself snobby about halal at worst. Imagine my surprise when indeed Hamza is one of the best I've ever tried! Their chicken is marinated and incredibly juicy. I think it's actually tandoori chicken that they make. However, Hamza is not better than the likes of Halal Guys or even the car that's across the street from the original halal guys location. Hamza is better than a LOT of its competitors though!
